My client has a unique service offering with a global reach and corresponding customer portfolio covering the offshore energy sector. They are continuously developing their sales approach and as a result are looking for a new Sales Executive.

They seek an ambitious and confident Sales Executive to develop growing subscription sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling subscription to global subscribers, providing sales demo’s and dealing with any associated administration.  It will entail learning all the subscription offerings as well as understanding the offshore energy sector.

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers.
  • Makes telephone calls, Teams calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with sales management and technical service groups.
  • Analyses the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation.
  • Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the
  • territory/segment.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keeps abreast of competitor product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participates in trade shows, exhibitions, and webinars.

Experience:

  • Sales and administration background
  • Used to working to targets/KPI’s
  • Good Computer skills
  • Experience in contacting businesses on the phone as well as face to face


This is a permanent role working a 37.5hr week, Monday – Friday with a basic salary of £25k and excellent benefits including private healthcare.
