Job Title: Bid Manager

Location: home-based with office attendance during bid submission weeks

Overview:

  • Lead the bid team to develop compelling proposals that meet client requirements and uphold corporate integrity standards.
  • Manage all bidding activities from initial client contact to contract signature, including bid strategy development, planning, and budgeting.
  • Manage medium to high complexity bids and strategic deals under the support of a Bid Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully deliver bids from early inception to client feedback and lessons learned.
  • Implement structured bid processes (e.g., Shipley bid process) to produce high-quality bid submissions.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and forums, including one-to-one interactions and group workshops.
  • Champion sustainability, safety, health, and environment initiatives.
  • Uphold integrity and customer focus by striving for excellence in meeting client needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bid management, including PQQ and ITT stages.
  • Familiarity with structured bid processes like Shipley.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety, health, environment, and corporate integrity.
  • Customer-focused approach to business.
