Stores Assistant | Poole | £30,000

Purpose

In this exciting new Stores Assistant role every day is different. Whether you’re helping a farmer find a crucial part for their tractor or assisting a million-pound company looking for a rare fitting, you’ll be responsible for delivering excellent service as well as supporting the rest of the team in booking and dispatching the correct products.

Basic stores knowledge and IT proficiency is ideal but all further training and development in sales and client management will be provided to the right person with a hands-on approach, an interest in how things work, and looking for progression.

As Stores Assistant you’ll have:

• Knowledge of stores and goods in environment
• A full UK driver’s license
• Great customer service skills
• IT literacy

Schedule

Monday – Friday 8am -5pm

You’ll be required to be on call from 8.30-12.30 one Saturday morning a month.

What the average day for the Stores Assistant will include:

• Booking in and out of stock
• Stock sortation throughout the warehouse
• Assisting with locating and packing or orders
• Delivery to local clients
• Answering emails and telephone calls
• Working on the shops trade counter
