Events Assistant
Location: Gloucester – MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE
Hours: Fulltime, Permanent
Salary: £26,000 per annum plus bonus – EXCELLENT CAREER PROGRESSION

Key Responsibilities of an Events Assistant

Support all logistical administration, ensuring compliance with event requirements, health and safety legislation, food hygiene, and other necessary regulations.

Oversee and manage small events.

Plan events, providing diverse offerings and meeting all logistical and safety standards.

Create detailed information packs.

Supervise event setup, coordinating the placement of units and equipment.

Manage event setup and breakdown, including décor and seating arrangements.

Monitor sub-contractor performance during events.

Oversee post-event breakdown and site cleanup.

Assist with credit control and resolve sub-contractor payment issues.

Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.

Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Key Skills of an Events Assistant

Happy to work long hours, staying away from home in the summer time.

Must have a full UK driving licence.

Experience in either events, hospitality or the sporting / music industry.

Willing to get stuck in and work hard to ensure smooth running of an event

Fully IT literate
-
Flexible, adaptable, and calm when working under pressure.

Positive and self-motivated.

Resilient, persistent, and good attention to detail.

Honest and trustworthy.
