Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a global, market leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer will work remotely covering Midlands and parts of South UK, responsible for key account management and technical solution sales for various compressed air systems via end user channels.

The Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer will have experience in selling, servicing, or managing key accounts within the compressed air sector. This includes products such as compressors, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, filtration systems, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, or related compressed air technologies.

Candidates with experience in related fields such as HVAC, industrial refrigeration, or pneumatic systems are also encouraged to apply. Additionally, Compressor Service Engineers looking to transition into sales roles will be considered.

Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer Role
  • Work remotely covering Midlands and parts of South UK, responsible for key account management and technical solution sales for various compressed air systems via end user channels.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling compressed air / Compressor aftermarket products and services.
  • Manage pricing and negotiate prices for new business within set parameters to achieve budgets and Company plans.
  • Maintaining new compressed air solution sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Homebased, willingness to travel across the Midlands and South UK.
Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements
  • Proven experience in roles such as Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Solution Sales Manager, or similar positions within the compressed air industry. Experience in other relevant job titles such as Territory Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Product Sales Specialist, Industrial Sales Representative, or Applications Engineer in the compressed air sector will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the compressed air sector, including products such as compressors, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, filtration systems, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, or related compressed air technologies.
  • Transferable Skills in related fields such as HVAC, industrial refrigeration, or pneumatic systems is highly valued.
  • Compressor Service Engineers looking to transition into sales roles will be considered.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global, market leading compressed air manufacturer.
  • A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
