At Biztory, we are looking for a talented and driven Modern Data Stack Account Executive to join our ambitious UK sales team. Engage with companies from governmental and innovative SMBs, to some of the biggest brands like Spotify, Secret Escapes and Zoopla. 

In this quota carrying role, you will actively source new business opportunities as well as leverage our partnerships with highly recognised products in the engineering space, like Snowflake and Fivetran to source new business and drive continued success with existing clients. Starting with our Mid Market customers, our aim is to grow you into looking at our Enterprise clients too. 

In this role, you will help create and scale our business offering in the Modern Data Stack space. 

With Snowflake & Sigma being two of our primary vendors, you will support the team in working with these organisations and their ecosystem of products.

What you will do:

  • Make your mark on the future of our UK commercial strategy and put your stamp on our path forward with a focus on Modern Data Stack projects. 
  • Look at the existing data warehousing sales structure and create a well functioning strategy and offering to build out this business.
  • Uncover new prospects from outbound activities, identifying and pursuing customers, projects, partners and tools in the MDS/Engineering space to convert to sales opportunities. 
  • Identify and pursue service engagements, showcasing the value of our data engineering team, managing the health of the pipeline and conversion of new opportunities.Build strong relationships with our data engineering consultant team of 5, collaborating with them to build and enhance our data offering ensuring their billable time is maximised
  • You will play a key part in delivering revenue and margin, working towards the Biztory UK Commercial plan, collaborating with leadership to shape UK G2M strategy for our MDS offering
  • Build and nurture relationships with Snowflake/Sigma and other data platform providers at all levels. 
  • Create innovative positioning to influence partners and customers, uncovering expansion potential within existing accounts. 

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a quota carrying B2B sales role, selling data warehousing services/MDS in a tech environment. 
  • Experience using the MEDDIC sales methodology would be a bonus
  • Experience selling to Heads of and above in SMB, Mid Market, bonus if you have had some exposure to Enterprise clients
  • Experience winning new business as well as upselling to existing clients
  • Bonus if you have existing contacts and network in MDS with companies like Thoughtspot, Snowflake, Sigma, Fivetran, etc.
