The Opportunity

We are seeking an Experienced Luxury Travel Sales Advisor with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and providing unparalleled client service. This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial and ambitious professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering bespoke, concierge-level service to a sophisticated and diverse clientele.

The successful candidate will be comfortable with taking ownership of complex client requests and proactively finding solutions to client’s challenges. For this role, we are seeking someone with a proficient working skillset in the Amadeus GDS, as they will perform a central role in efficiently managing flight and hotel reservations for Bluebird clients.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Excellence & Revenue Growth: Achieve ambitious sales revenue targets by crafting tailor-made travel solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Utilize Amadeus GDS with proficiency to support and boost the wider team's sales efforts.
  • Exceptional Client Service: Deliver outstanding service with a fast response time, maintaining the utmost discretion and privacy. Build long-term relationships by understanding the cultural nuances and specific needs of our Middle Eastern clients among others.
  • Team Support & Collaboration: Contribute to the collective success of the team by sharing knowledge and expertise, particularly in Amadeus GDS operations, and assist in elevating the overall sales performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Take ownership of high-profile client accounts, developing new client relationships, and ensuring maximum satisfaction through personalized and proactive service.
  • Market Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of luxury travel trends, with a focus on our most popular destinations including London, France, Italy, Spain, New York, and Los Angeles. Offer expert advice and innovative solutions to meet the sophisticated demands of our clients.
  • CRM & Financial Administration: Diligently manage and update sales data within the CRM system to ensure accuracy and visibility of client interactions and sales outcomes. Work closely with the accounts department to facilitate smooth financial administration, ensuring timely invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation, thereby supporting the financial health and integrity of our sales operations.
  • Supplier Relations & Representation: Represent Bluebird Travel with the highest level of professionalism at industry events and during interactions with suppliers. Foster and maintain strong relationships with our network of luxury service providers and partners, ensuring that our company values and standards are upheld, and that we continue to offer our clients exclusive experiences and unparalleled service.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Strong background in luxury travel sales or account management, with a track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Amadeus GDS, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask and solve complex problems independently.
  • Attributes: Entrepreneurial spirit, ambitious, team player, detail-oriented, with an appreciation for cultural nuances, especially Middle Eastern culture, and a commitment to discretion and privacy.
  • Passion: Genuine passion for luxury travel, with a willingness to go the extra mile for clients and a desire to build relationships that extend beyond travel.
