The successful candidate will support business development as a pivotal member of the Markets and Partnerships team in the United Kingdom, with a specific focus on the Compliance and legal buyer community (Vantage). The role will be focused on helping to build and implement a new business pipeline for Vantage, assisting in developing prospects and generating qualified meetings for their wider sales team, maintaining and ‘cleaning’ data to help support pipeline activity and generating cold outreaches to produce new revenue as efficiently as possible.

What you'll do:

  • Align closely with the regional and group marketing function:

·  Working to build the awareness of Vantage’s proposition with potential prospects, through ‘go to market’ strategies such as campaigns, events, webinars, etc, ensuring any follow ups are co-ordinated and actions.

·  Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and campaign effectiveness

  • Develop a pipeline of leads for the Vantage business, through;

·  Leveraging internal Control Risks client data and technology, sales intelligence and social media platforms

·  Researching and analysing market trends, including the competitive landscape to identify outreach opportunities with different sectors and buyers and inform your approach

·  Targeted marketing campaigns that provide value and build trust with potential clients

·  Following up promptly and professionally for inbound leads to maximise conversation rates for the Vantage business

  • Understand Control Risks offering for our legal and compliance clients, specially be able to speak in depth, to Vantage suite of services.

  • Support the Vantage team in use of systems (CRM) and client data, to keep relevant information and documentation orderly, up-to-date, compliant and accessible. 

  • Work with business development functions in Markets and Partnerships, to ensure alignment and best practice.

  • Liaise and build relationships with client-facing colleagues particularly within the Vantage team, to support and understand the sales cycle from marketing, prospecting, lead generation through to qualification, scoping, conversion, delivery and client follow-up.

 

  • High level of contact with potential clients via phone, email and other channels

  • Understand Control Risks offering for our legal and compliance clients, specially be able to speak in depth, to Vantage suite of services.

  • Support the Vantage team in use of systems (CRM) and client data, to keep relevant information and documentation orderly, up-to-date, compliant and accessible. 

  • Work with business development functions in Markets and Partnerships, to ensure alignment and best practice.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of experience working in a dedicated sales development role or in a junior client engagement role.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and oral English language skill
  • You have a demonstrable track record of SDR success, operating with senior legal and compliance decision makers in multiple sectors
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport in remote environments
  • Experience of hybrid working

Nice To Have:

  • Working knowledge of third-party due diligence solutions  
  • Use of Microsoft D365 Sales, especially for prospecting & maintaining contact lists
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and integration with D365 Sales for account mapping.
  • Experience undertaking and producing client research
