Luxshare-ICT Europe is responsible for the UK and European markets and is a dynamic and exciting company to be a part of. We are now looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to further strengthen our Northwest based team ready for the fantastic challenges that lie ahead. Position is predominantly office based in WA3 area but as part of the role there will also be UK, European and International travel.

Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer – European Division
Department: Sales – Full-time
Reporting to: Sales Office Manager
Basic Salary: £35,000 plus annual bonus review every January.
Role Description
The role will involve new account creation and management. The role requires strong electromechanical engineering knowledge and experience. You will be working on complex projects, so project management skills are an absolute necessity. The role is diverse and exciting due to the numerous markets Luxshare is engaged in. You will be located in our Lowton office Monday to Thursday with home working on Fridays. There will be a need to travel on occasion.
Key role and responsibilities for the Senior Sales Engineer position are
- Source, develop and establish new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions.
- Independantly research and prospect using a variety of techniques including online research, networking, and active participation in industry events to win new accounts.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
- Effective marketing of the extensive product portfolio within Luxshare to both new and existing customers to maximise our full sales potential.
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product not only meets client needs but exceeds ther current product range.
- Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
- Help in the design of custom-made products.
- The role covers the full spectrum of the sales cycle, from marketing, new customer development through to customer account management.
Minimum requirements for the Senior Sales Engineer are
Required Experience
- Degree in Engineering, preferably electronics
- Understanding of sales principles and a proven track record of new business development.
- Proven work experience in a relevant engineering role.
- UK full driving licence.
- Knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and procedures
Desired Experience
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
- Excellent project management skills from initial enquiry through to new contract.
- High degree of professionalism in customer service.
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Tenacious attitude when trying to win new business.
- An enthusiastic, self-starter attitude and a hunger to succeed and help grow the division.
