A fantastic opportunity is available for a self-motivated Sales Executive with a proven sales background to join a leading independent non-ferrous metal stockist based in West Bromwich.

Our client prides itself on delivering a high-quality service, developing its employees to the same standard. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful Sales Executive will hold an important role within the company which also offers career progression for the right person.

As a Sales Executive you will be joining the sales and customer service department to assist with the continued growth and client retention. You will be responsible for generating new leads, closing sales deals, and building strong relationships with clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and calling
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve team goals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities
    Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback

 Key Skills

  • Proven experience in sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales experience within the metal industry is desirable
  • Proficiency in ACT or similar CRM software
  • Ability to analyse market trends and customer needs to identify business opportunities

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday – 8:30am to 5:30pm

Friday – 8:00 to 4:30pm

Must be flexible to suit business requirements. 

Salary: £28k - £35k Dependant on experience + up to 20% bonus
