SALARY: £25,000 per annum + bonus OTE could be around £45,000 +

HOURS: Full Time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Sales and Business Development person who can hit the ground running.

Based in Nottingham, our client has become one of the UKs leading Event Management Companies. Working on a variety of events throughout England, our client has built its reputation on reliability and a ‘failure is not an option’ ethos which runs right through the business. They are a small team who are very passionate about their clients. They are looking to recruit this position to help develop the already successful and well-established business, taking it to the next level.

The successful applicant will be a charismatic, dynamic, ambitious person with a proven track record in sales, within a competitive environment. This person will be responsible for targeting clients suitable for their services which is within a fast moving and competitive industry.

The successful applicant will be required to attend meetings and high-profile events, some of which may be in and around London, Manchester and Birmingham so on a few occasions during the year out of hours will be required, for which a vehicle will be provided.

Role profile:

  • Possess a strong understanding of the company, the competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target new clients.
  • Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with new clients.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current clients.
  • Pitching their service to new clients.
  • Attending events.
