£30,000 - £50,000/annum

Looking for a Sales Manager to a small, busy and personable team, this position is paying an annual salary of £30,000 - £50,000. Working hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

As a sales manager you will be responsible for bringing in new business as well as increasing business with current customers. Managing customers accounts, building new customer relationships this will include trade shows both in the UK and worldwide.

Duties:

  • Building new customer associations and expanding existing customer relationships by selling a full range of products from the portfolio
  • Customer account management
  • Analysing past and current order information, seeking new sales opportunities
  • Assisting in the launch of new products
  • Helping in improving the online presence
  • Gaining knowledge of our extensive product range
  • Identifying gaps and new trends in the marketplace
  • Attending trade shows both in the UK and worldwide
  • Assisting with general day-to-day business activities

Benefits:

  • £30,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE
  • 20 days holiday (3-5 days to be held back for Christmas shutdown) + BH This does increase with years served
  • Pension

Experience / Attributes required:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience. Additional commercial and/or management experience would be beneficial
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be pro-active and able to multi-task within a busy working environment
  • Highly literate and numerical
  • Computer literate, with some experience in social media
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and enthusiasm are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload
  • Maintain excellent working relations with key departments and managers to ensure communication is well delivered throughout
  • Own vehicle and full driving licence required
  • Willingness to travel and attend exhibitions throughout the calendar year, for up to 10 days at any one time
