Part-time, non-executive opportunity with expanding FinTech – Carbon Credit commodity trading, advisory role.

This exciting payments FinTech has a major offering in the institutional FX market. They have contracts with two huge institutions and are rapidly expanding.

They have a view on the potential of options and carbon credits and are seeking to work with an experienced carbon credit savvy market practitioner – perhaps an options trader / commodity trader with the relevant experience, or quite simply a specialised carbon credit trader.

The founders of the company have some very innovative ideas. They are currently working with an organisation that already has a £200mil in backing and looks set to create a huge amount of carbon credits. 

Working in an advisory capacity, perhaps just a day per week in your own time, alongside your main place of work, or other projects, you’ll be engaging with the directors in advising and exploring different ways of monetising this opportunity. Whether in a straightforward manner or a case of offering options, so benefits can be brought forward, in effect accelerating the opportunity.

N.B.:  Remuneration:  Ultimately, the role will carry a salary or retainer but, at this stage of their growth, this isn’t a salaried position (no one at the company is, at present), but they will offer an attractive amount of share options and their commission rates are 16% of the revenue.
