Business Development Executive - Waste Management Services

Basic salary to £31,000, OTE circa £40,000 + Car allowance + Benefits

Covering the Yorkshire area

My client is an established waste management organisation and they are looking to add a new business focused field sales professional to their existing sales team in the Yorkshire area. The Role:

• This is a field based role but with 1-2 days a week going into the office in Elland

• Selling waste management solutions to medium to large businesses of varying markets

• You'll be self sourcing your own leads as well as following up on some provided from other methods and booking appointments over the phone which you'll then carry out yourself so you'll ideally spend 3-4 days on the road.

• Booking and attending client and prospect meetings

The Person:

• Field based new business sales experience is essential, it would be great if you had some waste management experience too but this isn't essential as long as you've sold on a business to business basis.

• You'll be a talented business developer, used to sourcing appointments for new business.

• Someone used to dealing with mid size customers rather than just small SMEs is important too.

• You'll be used to using a CRM system and updating information and sales pipeline

• Comfortable working to targets and understanding how to manage the sales process from start to finish, you'll be passionate and proactive in your approach.

• A full UK driving license is essential and you'll need to have your own vehicle as a car allowance is paid.

The Package:

• A basic salary between £28,000 and £31,000 is offered

• Commission is paid at 10% based on achievement of target

• There is a car allowance of £400 per month

• 25 days holiday + bank holidays + an additional day for your birthday

• Pension, laptop, phone etc are also included
