We have the exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven Sales Manager with a proven track record within Travel & Tourism to join an established Global Tour Operator in the Worcestershire area. If you’re a passionate Salesperson looking for that next step, look no further!

This role is full time and consist of around 30% travel (national & global) with a hybrid working system for office attendance. You will be responsible for building relationships with global partners and supporting your team to grow and this area of the business which consist of Cruise, B2B Sales & Product Teams. This position is full time, travel can be required over weekends which is given back lieu, office house are 9-5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Bonus is based on a combination of personal performance and department KPI’s.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Lead & support your departments to ensure KPI’s are met and exceeded.
  • Provide regular reviews with team members to regularly review performance and set development plans and targets.
  • Attend management meetings.
  • Manage departments P & L.
  • Forecasting and tracking KPI’s and providing reports to stake holders.
  • Develop distribution channels to grow and strengthen partnerships.
  • Support Global teams with Strategy Development & Execution.
  • Support with negotiation of rates and margins, commercial terms and incentives when required.
  • Source new opportunities to increase global footprint.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Key Partners to ensure maximum potential revenue is being achieved.
  • Produce, present and analyse reports and data.
  • Attend national and global trade fairs/events/meetings and internal conferences.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Travel Industry experience is essential for this position. Experience with a tour operator, cruise lines or distribution channels.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment dynamic environment, must be adaptable, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ideally proven management experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
