Chase Taylor Recruitment is currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager and strong relationship builder to join a large European window and door manufacturing business and help them develop their UK Presence. They already have the infrastructure in place to make the UK their next success story and their products are well manufactured with good turn-around times and are competitively priced.

The role comes with a generous basic salary, company car, and an uncapped commission scheme. Plus, you will be in an excellent position to capitalize on future expansion plans as the company expands.

The role:

  • Promote the company and our products to potential customers across within North of the UK
  • Create marketing strategies to identify and target potential customers with compelling sales materials and proposals.
  • Ensure all sales opportunities are captured and explored in a timely manner.
  • Use your industry knowledge and contacts to maintain a healthy pipeline of new customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through prospecting to closing.
  • Keep accurate records of prospects identified, contacted, visited, and converted.
  • Report regularly to the Country Manager and work closely to create strategies
  • Attend networking events
  • Work closely with technical manager and team to co-ordinate logistics and after-sales
  • Ongoing nurturing of customers

The candidate:

  • Must come from the aluminium window and door background
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct B2B sales within the window and door industry
  • A proven and impressive track record in business development.
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Be computer literate
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • The confidence to deal with new prospects at any level of seniority.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Be able to manage own workload
  • Be forward thinking and sales driven
  • Must currently reside in the UK
