£40,000 - £50,000/annum Plus commission & car allowance/car

My client, a leading engineering services, repairs and products-based company is seeking a highly experienced Key Account Manager.

The role will cover the Greater Manchester area including Central Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire and involve managing around 50% existing business, and 50% new business. Typical industries you will be dealing with will be food production, utilities, paper companies, Petro-chem, manufacturing and pharmaceutical. You will be responsible for cross selling the company’s extensive range of services including predictive maintenance, repairs of rotating equipment and the sale of pumps, motors, and other MRO products.

The role will involve: -

  • Managing key accounts and cross selling all areas of the business to existing clients
  • Driving new business development, and cross selling all areas of the business
  • Meeting with clients on a regular basis
  • Putting together strategic plans to grow existing accounts and providing a professional, consultative solution to meet client’s expectations
  • Updating the CRM system on a regular basis
  • Following up sales leads
  • Grow and nurture key accounts and bring on new business

To apply you will have: -

  • Existing Account management/business development experience within the engineering sector
  • Engineering services or engineering sales experience is essential
  • Ideally you will have recent experience of selling rotating equipment products, maintenance, or services
  • Experience of cross selling all areas of your business
  • Experience of bringing on new customers
  • Happy to meet with clients on a regular basis
  • Must live no more than 1 hour away from Manchester

Car driver - essential

What is on offer: -

  • OTE around £50K - £55K, with quarterly bonus and yearly bonus
