My client is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their renowned business based in Birmingham.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £35,000 + £2k bonus and company car, phone, laptop
- Hybrid role - in office and in the field
- Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 5pm, Fri 08:30 - 4pm

Duties:
- Identifying new prospects as well as engaging current customer base with product offerings.
- Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.
- Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs.
- Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase.
- Liaising with internal departments to create bespoke quotes for customers.
- Following up on sales that have not converted.
- Usage of the internal CRM system to engage with active, lost and lapsed customer base.
Skills/Experience required:
- Previous experience working within a Field Sales or Business Development role.
- Industry experience not important, just the desire to win business.
- Strong negotiator with the ability to handle objections.
- Ability to think outside of the box and be proactive.
