Location: City Centre Manchester (Office based, No Home Working)
About Our Client
Our Client is one of the leading suppliers and installers of energy reduction solutions in the UK reducing both kWh consumption and harmful CO2 emissions in the process.
With several innovative technologies for the industrial and commercial sectors, they have become an award-winning supplier.. They are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join their existing team in their modern vibrant office in the heart of Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience or background ideally selling a technology-driven solution, however full training will be given on all products.
The Business Development Manager role.
Talking to business decision makers over the telephone, internet and by email.
Developing and delivering energy reduction solutions to UK companies. You must have superb communication skills and attention to detail. The sales process involves online and face-to-face demo's over a range of products with varying sales cycles.
Essential Skills
- Be able to demonstrate success in a previous sales role
- Must have excellent verbal sales and written skills
- Experience with a CRM and excellent IT skills, good with Excel and MS Office
- Superb telephone manner and strong work ethic
- Must be able to manage own diary and possess excellent organisational skills
- Stay calm and manage tight deadlines.
- A team player understanding that there are NO short-cuts to success.
- Determined with ambition to progress and earn money
Preferred Skills
- Sustainability credentials would be good, .
- Experience of attending and exhibiting at Exhibitions
Remuneration: £32/36000 basic, plus bonus/commission scheme: OTE.Year 1 £65/70000
