We are a well-established business that specialises in the design and supply of smart packaging materials, looking to appoint a customer-focused Business Development Manager to our growing team.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our business through identifying and converting new business opportunities, whilst nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently exceed expectations, secure new business, and foster long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To convert new business opportunities and grow sales revenue in line with company sales targets.
  • To win new business at agreed gross profit levels in line with company sales targets.
  • To manage customer forecasts and stock to ensure zero aged and redundant stock.
  • Work with Head of business development to present to new potential customers.
  • Work with Head of business development to smoothly onboard new customers.
  • To prepare quotations and proposals for new potential customers.
  • Reduce non-conformances within the customer base.
  • Adhere to all existing and new business systems and processes.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with other departments to address any challenges within the customer portfolio.

  • Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM.
  • Someone who enjoys sustaining excellent relationships with existing accounts.
    • Excellent communication with all levels of staff.
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Energetic and dynamic.
    • Good negotiator with the ability to achieve win/win solutions.
    • Experience in a similar position.
