Business Development Manager

Involve Recruitment (Midlands ) Ltd are working with a leading Birmingham Manufacturer to recruit for a Business Development Manager !
Main aspect of the role is to research and build relationships with potential new clients within the market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and turn this into increased business.
Daily duties
- To meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging of network.
- Plan business development approaches and pitches and set up meetings with client decision makers and company leaders.
- Work within a team to develop proposals, including designing and pricing.
- Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships.
- Attend industry functions, such as exhibitions and conferences
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Forecast sales targets and track and record activity

- Salary - £40,000 with Company car fuel are included
- Hybrid / flexible working
- The usual operating hours are 7.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00 am to 12.00 pm Friday

Previous experience with Business Development within Manufacturing / Engineering is essential
