Involve Recruitment (Midlands ) Ltd are working with a leading Birmingham Manufacturer to recruit for a Business Development Manager !

Main aspect of the role is to research and build relationships with potential new clients within the  market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and turn this into increased business.

Daily duties

  • To meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging of network.
  • Plan business development approaches and pitches and set up meetings with client decision makers and company leaders.
  • Work within a team to develop proposals, including designing and pricing.
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships.
  • Attend industry functions, such as exhibitions and conferences
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Forecast sales targets and track and record activity

  • The usual operating hours are 7.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00 am to 12.00 pm Friday

Previous experience with Business Development within Manufacturing / Engineering is essential
