GCP Facilities, a well-established company operating within the Facilities Management industry, is looking for a Hard FM Business Development Manager with experience in selling Hard Facilities Support, PPM's and Refurbishment Projects based in Orpington, Kent on a full-time basis. 

We want someone keen and a real people person who will leave a good impression on our clients. We would prefer super-friendly, bright, and enthusiastic individuals with knowledge of some sectors of the HARD FM industry. 

We are moving away from Soft FM to concentrate on PPMs and HARD services, so any knowledge within these areas is great.

This role offers great earning potential with an OTE of £75k - £85k!

We develop and maintain strong relationships with customers whilst applying rigorous attention to detail and excellent quality assurance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities in the London area
  • Operate in a field-based role, engaging daily with company decision-makers
  • Achieve realistic sales targets to earn exceptional monthly and yearly commissions
  • Cultivate relationships and expand business with existing clients
  • Contribute significantly to creating and presenting innovative tender documents and presentations

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in selling HARD Facilities Support
  • You will be highly proactive and creative while also having an effective sales approach
  • You will be able to take accountability for managing your own sales territory and be able to hit targets consistently
  • You will need to be well-presented, tenacious, self-motivated and very resilient
  • Have excellent rapport-building skills to prepare and undertake a thorough hand-over to operational colleagues once each contract is secured using the Company's ISO procedures 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, working closely with the contract Operations team to identify new services and streamline opportunities with existing customers
