Up to £70,000 base + Company Vehicle (Tesla) OTE £140,000

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday 1 day per week from home)

Must have skill set needed.

  • Prospect for new clients by cold calling, networking, use of databases or other means of generating interest from potential clients and turn this into new business (the successful candidate must be willing to cold call).
  • 4+ years’ experience working in commercial security sales (which needs to include experience of site visits, reviewing clients’ needs including both security technology & manpower)
  • Understanding of security systems such as Alarm (Texecom), CCTV (Dahua, Hik, Avigilon), Access Control

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth of the business by hitting sales targets.
  • Implement the annual sales plan as directed for your area.
  • CRM management of all sales opportunities in order to produce feedback for the weekly sales meeting.
  • Expand the current customer base with a focus on direct business.
  • Identify merging markets and assist in the development of a plan to target these
  • Provide weekly sales data to the management reporting.
  • Prepare a weekly plan for the sales meeting detailing outlining proposed activity for the forthcoming week.
  • Support the Operations Team during initial contract roll out, ensuring a smooth deployment of new customers.
  • Be fully aware of new products that have been brought to market.  It is encouraged to attend retail shows to build knowledge.
  • Identify merging markets and market shifts in order to gain first mover advantage.
  • Conduct CPD activities to enhance sales and product knowledge.  This is to be agreed with you line manager.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports as directed.
