Our client is a high growth SaaS company selling a range of software solutions into the NHS and care home sector. A number of their products digitise tasks currently undertaken via paper and allow healthcare environments to become more efficient and prioritise safety. Due to the next stage of their growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager (location flexible) to develop new business within the NHS and care home sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships (both existing and new accounts)
  • Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients
  • Deliver regular and consistent SaaS revenues in line with targets
  • Deliver compelling and exciting demonstrations of their digital solutions/software applications
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from initial leads to closing deals
  • To demonstrate the product using a mix of online and onsite demonstrations, as necessary
  • To serve as a trusted adviser, generate new business by means of using existing industry network, prospecting and customer networks, in conjunction with marketing activities.
  • Have a structured and methodical approach to understanding a customer's requirements and pain points, and generate new prospects to convert them into key accounts

The Candidate:

  • Experience of selling software into the care home sector
  • A customer centric and consultancy sales approach and self-motivated attitude with a strong drive to succeed
  • Excellent presentation skills and credibility to manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues throughout the business
  • Focused and driven to exceed targets and expectations
  • Organised, self-starter, with high levels of attention to detail
