Business Development Manager - Upscale Hotel (Brighton)

We're looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art hotel in the heart of Brighton. Responsibilities:

  • Secure new business deals across various sectors, including corporate events, special occasions, and room bookings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue generation.
  • Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with generating insightful reports.
  • Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to build and strengthen client relationships.
  • Analyse competitor activity and stay informed about market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Manage client data and ensure accurate record-keeping within the CRM system.
  • Participate actively in all sales activities, including research, phone calls, client entertainment, and promotional events.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to support different departments within the hotel when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A warm, welcoming, and professional demeanour.
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
