Job Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Field sales opportunity focused on selling solutions and Variable Speed Drives.
  • Utilize product knowledge and market experience to achieve automation sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Proactively identify and engage new leads and companies to expand business reach.
  • Target OEMs to promote and sell the company's Variable Speed Drives.
  • Strategize and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives and forecasts.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments, including procurement, design, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive pipeline generation to facilitate revenue growth and achievement of targets.
  • Monitor, forecast, and provide regular reports on sales activities within your area, tracking against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements for the Business Development Manager:

  • Proven track record of billing and developing new business.
  • Strong working knowledge of low voltage Variable Speed Drive, Soft Starter, and controls systems designs and implementations.
  • Sound experience of the UK automation market and customer base.
  • Able to organize and plan your week accordingly.
  • Experience in account management and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Self-sufficient and comfortable providing solutions to a problem.
