Position: Business Development Manager

Area: North UK

Salary/ Package: £45,000 - £50,000 + Company Car + Company Bonus

Job Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Selling solutions and Variable Speed Drives.
  • Utilize product knowledge and market experience to achieve automation sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Proactively identify and engage new leads and companies to expand business reach.
  • Target OEMs to promote and sell the company's Variable Speed Drives.
  • Strategize and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives and forecasts.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments, including procurement, design, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive pipeline generation to facilitate revenue growth and achievement of targets.
  • Monitor, forecast, and provide regular reports on sales activities within your area, tracking against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements for the Business Development Manager:

  • Full Clean UK Driving License
  • Proven track record of developing new business
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Strong working knowledge of low voltage Variable Speed Drive, Soft Starter, and controls systems designs and implementations is required!
  • Sound experience of the UK automation market and customer base is required!
  • Ability to self-motivate and self schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in account management and developing client relationships.
  • Ability to educate the client and provide solutions
