I am working with a client in the Events and Exhibitions sector, who are seeking a new German speaking Business Development Manager. They have offices all across the globe, but I am seeking someone in the UK, who is fluent German and English
Location - London, 3 days office based, 2 from home
Salary - £35,000 per annum
Working hours - 9am-5.30pm, except for Thursdays where you will receive an early finish for Beer and Pizza in the office!
The main purpose of this role, is to generate sponsorship and exhibition sales for their events.
The role:
- Research and find prospects - lead generation.
- Have consultative engagements with prospects.
- Create intelligent, needs-based proposals for prospects.
- Close and manage sponsors & exhibitors.
- Create new sponsorship & exhibition opportunities.
- Contribute to the business plan and project management.
- Work with Conference Managers and Editor to create/enable sponsorship & exhibition participation.
- Manage sponsors & exhibitors on-site.
- Promote their products, through regular posting on social media, especially Linked In.
About you:
- Proactive
- Good net worker
- Able to create strong client/customer relationships
- MUST be fluent English and German
- Experience using Linked In/Sales Navigator
