The Client

The company specialise in the Production and Distribution of Custom Uniforms & Workwear.

The Business Development Manager will report into the Senior Sales Manager and play an integral part to the company growth by helping to build the sales pipeline and develop leads into meaningful opportunities for the company to win more business within their market. 

The Candidate

  • We are ideally looking for someone with 3-5 years’ experience, clothing is not essential, but a “passion for fashion/clothing” would be good as you will need to work closely with the design and product development team.   
  • The market is quite niche, so you need to have experience in B2B sales, not B2C.   
  • You need to be able to command a room, think on your feet and be very good at engaging and opening doors, as well as closing deals.  The sales cycle is very long – from tender to closing can take up to a year. 
  • Articulate and presentable with a strong work ethic and upbeat attitude
  • Computer literate with particular proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • You’re bright and enthusiastic with great attention to detail and a real ‘can-do’ attitude, driven to achieve for yourself and the company
